Snatch block, or plain old 'block'?

Personally I favor the GI 6" snatch block. I've come across 2-3 in my years, usually about $10-20 at swap meets. The little diameters ones are not so good on the cable. Pulley diameter should be 12x cable diameter, 12" cable needs 6" pulley.

The GI SB opens by simply folding the hook 90 degrees.
