If you've already bought that truck, I'm sure you're more than qualified to fix it. If you haven't, since you plan to restore it, just look for a straight rust free truck. Some guys on this forum love fixing rust...which is fine if there's no other alternative but there's no chance you'll ever see me welding in a floor or roof seam on a PW when there's plenty of rust free cabs that can be bought for $500 or less. Some find satisfaction in the repair...personally I'd be tortured that I spent thousands of hours restoring a truck & for the sake of $500, I have an inferior end result...you know?
The best truck I've seen for sale lately is Jeremy's truck in MT. It's apart but there's about 100 or so guys here with thousands of pics that can be emailed to help assemble it...I mean these trucks are so simple my wife could restore one & so if you can do the Challenger then you'll be over qualified :)
Here's a link to pictures of Jeremy's truck. He advertised it for $5500 last forum...definitely a clean rust free truck...I'd buy it if I had room for another project!
