Yes, you are right. Thank you for the great advice. I do think buying the best starting point is the only way to go. This truck I'm told is solid, but I have to look at it in person to know for sure. The photos show it's age, but I know it's hard to find these trucks that haven't been messed with. It's a CA truck it's whole life expect for the one year in Alaska. He says it runs and drives, but I have no plans of driving it. Restoration 1st.
