I used to sell tires for Goodyear and I would personally recommend the Workhorse Xtra Grip. I did some off roading in my dads 77 2wd and never got stuck(I think it was pure luck) and sent plenty of rooster tails in the wind...They do get a little noisey but the Workhorse radial performs pretty good and without the noise. The salesman don't typically mention them because of cheap in price and rarely kept in stock. I have used them both and enjoyed them in all types of weather.
