truck research - where can I go?

Where can I find information on my truck? I have the model number (C1-D6-116) and I think it's the vin # (81475879). I believe the model number means it's a series C 116" wheel base but what is the D6? Any help decoding or where I can go would be appreciated...Guy(NH)
