Questions about Dodge m37

I bought a 52 M37 from a fire deptment last year. No rust and mostly original. It runs nice but I have had trouble with the points and distributor(12 volt convertion)
Has anyone been able to upgrade to a electronic ignition? Also can anyone tell me who is the manufacturer of the front and rear ends?
