On my 69 WM3000, the heater damper to select between heat & defrost is controled by a piece of rod right on the heater that is connected to the door that diverts the flow of air. There is a switch on the dash that controls the two speeds of the fan.
I have a Light switch (L), Choke knob (C) and Blower knob (B) on the dash, throttle handle below the dash near the blower knob.
