Brake Work

After sitting for the last three or four years I'm working on getting my WDX back into service. I have a new M37 master cylinder and new wheel cylinders for the truck. Should I bench bleed the master cylinder before putting it on or does it make a difference? Also, can I use compressed air to clean out the brake lines or is there a better way to clean out the lines? Thanks Robert
