I have been monitoring this forum for nearly three years and though I don't contribute often I feel as though I have gotten to know some of you. I'm asking a favor. I am on the verge of making a sight-unseen purchase of my first PW (a 1953 B-3-PW) from a classified add on the internet. The truck is located in South-Central CA just outside of Morro Bay toward Atascadero. Is there anyone in that region who would be willing and able to check it out for me, drive it, and give me their 3rd party opinion. My gut feeling based on watching these classifieds for so long is that it will sell for its asking price in way less time than I will have to arrange the trip myself. I would be willing to offer expenses for fuel used and lunch on me for an honest report. Anyone interested, please contact me by email, and I'll pass on the details. This would probably need to happen fairly soon as the truck is advertised.
