storing a truck

hello, I was wondering if any one had some advice about how to store a truck for about ten years or so. I have a 48 B-1-D one ton
that I drove for a couple of years. It needs to be torn down and restored. Is it possiable to store this truck for years and not ruin it.I'd like to come back after I retire and restore it. would this hurt the motor and drive train thanks kenneth
