for our lifetimes, our kids lifetimes and beyond. we need to focus on making the internal combustion engine more efficient, diesels more available and sources of fuel free from governmental regulation. suspend the blends, develop the biodiesel market by making it tax free, stop ethanol and encourage new entrants in refining and production. punish abusers and law breakers, but get out of the way... our cars and trucks are very clean relative to 50 years ago. its china and india that are the large producers of pollution. we talk about outsourcing our jobs to china. i believe some of that was due to labor cost. i really believe that the shift to china was to save on production costs. no epa, no regulation, no interference. we really just offshored our pollution.
