Hi David, once sheetmetal is dented, it stretches the steel. The only way to fix it is to shrink it either with a shrinking hammer or with heat but if you just re-pressed the panel...there's too much metal there...if you follow.
On top of all that, Matt is the only guy with the dies & I can assure you, it would cost you more to have Matt restamp your one set than he can make you a brand new perfect set for! :)
Also, the panels are stamped before the top angle is formed.
Bottom line...no is the answer to your question.
Call Matt...he'll fix you up with a perfect bed cheaper than you can fix one unless you're not fussy :)
