You need to be pretty lucky to find an original bed in decent condition at any reasonable price.
By the time you have a finished bed with tail gate, fenders and bed wood, you will, most likely, have spent thousands. That's part of the reason I say it's better to spend more and get a complete truck with a winch and bed, if that's what you want.
Most people seem to opt for some kind of flat bed or stake bed. Reproduction bed parts are available, but they won't be cheap.
