Counter rotation Saginaw steering boxes

I have two counter rotation Saginaw steering boxes, the ones necessary for converting a FFPW to power steering. They are good used takeoffs. I was going to use one on one of my trucks as it had no column or box at all. Now I'm thinking I want to just put in an original manual steering box and column for the sake of being done with things. Are the two Saginaw boxes a worthy trade for a factory Gemmer setup that's not totally worn out?
