There was only one "express" bed length option in civilian use,Military may be different.
The truck in the bottom link has the correct early 4 pocket bed for a 49.
The truck in the top link has what appears to be home made bed.
Some later years has a 3 pocket design and later the top rail went from a slopped to flat top with 3 pockets.
All were 8 foot long
