just weld some one in. flat bar like the grill frame on the back of the grill on the sides only and drill holes to suit and weld up the hole in the grill and vala ext.
or make a new grill with out of in. and 3 quarter stock on the sides and one in. top and bottom
given that most of the time the radiator on an ole truck is gonna be questionalbe a custom one with a little diff design would be the way to go to keep the grill where it belongs
