judging from galens pic and as my memory comes back the diff. appears to be that the wdx has more tank(taller) and fills up the taller shell of the wdx as compared to the wc
that said his problem is still the same and he needs to move the fill spout so he can move the rad. even further forward and then the high pump might clear the tank
or use the low pump which may entail changing crank pulleys--not sure tho
