Just yesterday I replaced the blower motor in my wife's Eldorado. Manual said, in addition to removing many items, to also remove the cam cover...not all that easy, plus potential oil leaks afterwards. All this due to insufficient clearance between the engine and firewall. I found after removing the 'dog-bone' torque struts and replacing one with a six inch turnbuckle I was able to gently pull the engine forward enough to gain sufficient clearance to remove the blower motor. A job, for which I hear, 'Caddy' wants close to $900, not that I would ever go to a dealership (stealership).
