The pif is computer jargon for a file here on the Power Wagon forum that has information. What is the height of the bed you found?
I shortened a nine foot bed from a 1955 one ton and it was identical to the Power wagon but was more work than it was worth.
There is a guy making repop bed sides that are very nice and correct. I would look into them before considering the shortening job.
