What country is he going to? My neighbor just got back from a two year engineering job at a diamond mine in Zimbabwe.
One of the threats there were the baboons coming into the compound looking for food. Baboons are pretty smart. He had one come into his office and go through all the desk drawers looking for lunches. He said it was common for the baboons to try opening truck doors looking for snacks.
