I have no intention of using a rare and valuable NOS part... But the one I have needs something as it does not work now, which was the reason for my initial post. It needs to restrict some of the vacuum at idle. Right now, there is no change in the idle with it in or out of the circuit, which indicates something may not be normal. That with a slightly lean condition under acceleration with load. (solved by a slight pull of the choke, indicating vacuum leak)VPW is sending me a unit the pulled from a salvage truck.
