if you take the key to a locksmith, you may use it as an opportunity to have him make your door and ignition keyed alike. its a nice touch to have one key that operates both. I had it done on my command car - ignition and tailgate. had the ignition keyed to the tailgate as the wc 3/4 trucks all share a universal key pattern!!
