We're all taking shots in the dark because we haven't seen photos or gotten any real information to work with.
I just tend to downplay this kind of truck for a guy who's new to Power Wagons. There's plenty of sellers who have a junk Power Wagon and think they have a valuable antique vehicle. If someone can't put things in perspective, a buyer can go way overboard paying for an essentially un-restorable (at least from a financial standpoint) mess.
Just because you can afford a certain truck and it's within your budget doesn't mean it's a good deal. Better to pay a few more thousand for a running truck that will have much less potential for surprises.
