I don't usually post on this forum, but I'm confused by the responses you've received. I sure wouldn't want to discourage you. A little over a year ago, I purchased a 1948 B1-PW-126 for $3000. Bed cut down and surface rust all over, barely running, some glass gone. Now, we don't have a picture of your proposed purchase, but I'm thrilled with the price I paid. These are the best classic trucks and it sounds to me like this truck is a good find. Like Dave says $3500 to $5000. The main thing is: Is it all there? (Driveshafts, doors, straight frame, small parts like the air cleaner, seat frame, headlight buckets). Is the drive train greasy and caked with mud (good sign), or very rusty (bad sign). Yeah, you'll spend some money. I'm working on mine over time and I'm having FUN. Cameron did mention some good things to check. I'd add one thing. Does the truck 'sit' right when you look at it? Does it feel good?
