WOW, hadn't even realized the Dodge offered a Diesel in '78. But they sure did, a Mitsubishi, 243 cu.in, 103 HP & 168 ft.lbs.

I thought all 78's were full time 4WD, but I suppose they could have had a different setup for the Diesel.
