Precisely my thoughts. I feel like I started this whole mess & I can honestly say that not only have I never been an anti gun activist...I didn't start the topic on guns...Jerry did!! LOL!!
I think Joe's forum looks after the needs of us PW guys better than any other forum & one of the great things about it is the fact that it's more personable here than most forums.
I have no problem when topics take a u-turn...if they don't interest me, I don't read them.
That said there are often topics I find interesting & some certainly controversial.
As for the gun debate...it makes zero difference to me & so seriously I regret voicing my opinion but when I see that much death due to an idiot getting his hands on a gun, I felt a healthy discussion on limiting the ability for some folks to aquire such a weapon, a healthy one. Unfortunately a few zealots took the debate to the extreme but it's all good in my book...I stopped reading the posts myself once things got unhealthy.
No hard feelings here...many of my best friends own lots -O guns & it doesn't bother me but I can also tell them to their face that changes need to be made & likely will be.
