I agree 100% Don. My wife is a psychiatric nurse & if you saw the folks they're turning loose....you'd sleep better knowing they had very limited access to guns.
What's the answer...I don't think there is one. Unfortunately government is going the opposite direction & letting these folk out of hospital & trying to "fix" them.
That's not going to happen & so if one of these nuts is going to be anywhere near my family...I wish they at least had an oportunity to run or defend themselves without being shot from 50 feet away.
