the 1957 D/Ws generally had a V on the hood nose to note the presence of a V8 engine.
But this truck lacks the grill and chrome bars as well, so it could all have been removed at some point.
This truck would provide a great base to build a conventional cab 1957 W300, which Dodge did not offer until 1958.
