i would assume making the flathead head is easier and easier on the pocket book than ohv
i read somewhere somebody wanted to make flat head blocks and heads change a few things and come up with comparable results as per ohv
but given the specific problems as per more power and performance etc. without having to spend a whole lot of money would not the best solution be a little induced induction via turbos or other system
and the lg. block is the best option
canīt really figure why they never dropped the short block altogether and just used the long one getting all the same configurations and them some
