I really don't take it off road too much other than our Rally we have in Hollister CA. evey year. Even then nothing radical at all. It was most certainley beat to hell in it's civilian life before I bought it. 1st gear is still plenty low for what I use It for. It's still after all, only a single speed Transfer case. I just love the looks of the 1/2 ton WC's with the sloping hood and all.
