"M37 High-Compression Head"?

Someone is selling such a thing on ebay (221159814891), and I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with it. Is it just a normal head milled down, or are the pockets cut differently? Does raising the compression to 7.9 really give you a "20-30% increase in power"? It sounds like it's a civilian head, because it has a small temperature sender hole. I don't quite understand the part about needing a different head gasket.
