'46 civvy CJ jeeps had no more safety accessories than WDXs. None.
The scam as I recall was that "we need to get 100 guys to put in $50 each, up front. Then we'll bid on a batch of 100". Or take the money and run.
Hmmm, I wonder if I could try it with Hummers? ;^)
