I've installed a lot of speedi sleeves this year... One edge is sharp, but the other end has a rolled edge that on it. That rolled edge is what contacts the installation tool so you can tap/press the sleeve on. If your's has two sharp edges, I wonder if the rolled edge has been removed. (the rolled edge is designed to come off after you install it). Rock Auto sells them at a reasonable price for the power wagon NP-200 and NP420, along with the one for the front of the timing cover on the 230.
