If you're wanting to cruze at 55mph w/35 inch tires, then yes. Now here's the down side:
- The effect of speed on your tires - You'll only get 51% of normal tire wear, so don't buy expensive tires. This due to camber design on the front axle.
- 4.89's produce a drag on the 230 C.I.D. resulting in warmer engine temps and higher fuel consuption at 50 mph.
- Brakes will wear quicker.
- Safe handling of the truck was not designed for 55mph.
