I have taken mine apart and all I could see that it would really do is turn the dash light on. The pedal does not get hard bleeding brakes which is basically a leak. It bleeds down just like any other brake system does.
The FSM has 3 different valves listed and they are all different. That is including later FSM's not just my '67. I'll maybe go pull them out later and reread all that junk.
