My mandrel bend headers w/ intake Didn't help my max HP- until I also installed a bigger carb. Final test was + 5 horse power at the maximum, that is about 10%. But the biggest improvement was about +10 extra ponies at higher revs, like on the freeway. That was a very real, very beneficial improvement.
