It'll losen up after a while probably. I just replaced the rubber seals on the doors of another truck I'm restoring, and after I got done I could hardly shut the doors, I had to slam them. But after a few weeks the rubber is getting smushed down and the doors work better. I'm sure even after more time they will work correctly.
