Surely Mark is not using a plastic clutch alignment tool for a precision runout measurement. Those things only have to be as accurate as the amount of slop in clutch disk splines, which is quite a lot. By the way, there's no need to mess with the plastic junk on our rigs because AB Linn sells NOS cosmolined transmission input shafts on ebay for as cheap as a plastic alignment tool.
