I agree with Kaegi. The Plastic alignment tooks are junk. I did not have a tranny input shaft for a SBC pilot. I used the plastic tool that came with the clutch set. All appeared to be well. Went to plug the tranny in the Cummins/SBC and she would not go. The plastic tool was just enough out of spec to give a error in clutch alignment. I pushed the tranny in till it hit the pilot bearing, then used a Porta Power to release the clutch. A little wiggling and she dropped right in.
