I realize that these rad caps are not quite as desirable as those off of the old classics IE. like Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Packard, Pierce Arrow, and Duesenberg etc. but I have been thinking about drilling a hole through the back (in line with the hood hinge)of it and installing a ss sheet metal screw through it just to prevent some "clown" from removing it, --- for whatever reason. My theory being that anyone wishing to remove this type of cap is probably not carrying or does not own any tools anyway. I will now have to always carry a red handle Robertson screw driver as I will of course be using a #8 or #10 Robertson screw.
I have another plan for the gas cap later, but lets complete one big job at a time. JJB
