Light Bulb Question

The #55 six volt bulb has been working fine for the dash lights on my early FFPW, except for the high beam indicator. The #55 bulbs I have are too big to allow the bulb holder to snap into the indicator housing.

I have seen what look to be #55 bulbs (same base), but with a smaller glass head. I think those are the bulbs I need for the high beam indicator.

Are the smaller bulbs the same identification number, but made by a different manufacture, or is there another number for the smaller bulb?
