On vent wing doors, the glass has always pulled out of the rubber in the bottom frame with steady pressure, after removing the one screw at teh front bottom corner.
The channel in the door isn't usually glued in, so it yanks our easily.
If you have a '42 GI truck with the metal frame around the glass, unscrew the frame and slow-steady pressure ought to spread things apart.
If a PO glues things together with urethane, all bets off. Try the heat gun.
