were the replacement parts chinese?
I had quite a few cars with points & condensers and never had any parts fail like
you describe (yes points would burn (as it is
called))
my 55 chev had a dual point distributor
(fuel Injection corvette engine) and never
had any problems
I would suggest that you check all the ground
connections as bad grounds are the #1 electrical system problem
