At any time in the production run was there offered an external, roof-mounted windshield visor? Reason I ask is, as I’m sanding off clear coat (THIN!) and three (silver/school bus yellow) layers of paint, original color is forest green, I find the tell-tale better-condition-paint shadow of an elliptical mount of some kind on both sides of the roof. There were four in-line holes for mounting whatever it was. With the radiator cap being 12 o’clock they are angled at 10 and 2. A PO had also mounted what appears to have been a rotating beacon, subsequently removed it and left it with a very bad patch in its stead. What do you all think?
