The OE flat head had rubber in the center front and two wide mounts at the bell housing.
The OE wishbone had rubber in the center front, and two wide mounts at the bell housing.
The newer V8s have rubber in the center rear at the tranny, and two wide mounts at the engine.
I think rubber mounts in a triangle handle frame twist better, and so did Detroit.
Perhaps the V8 is short enough to add a low bracket to the rear of the front crossmember, leaving height for a rubber engine isolator to a custom wish bone?
Or not...
