I watched a doc on Netflix about a commune up in the hills of Cali back in the 60s/70s. Black Bear. Peter Coyote lived there a while I guess and some of us might remember that con man drove his TW PW Sadie(?)out a couple of times before he disappeared. Probably fearing for his life. Peter is a great guy and had noting to do with the con. Obviously. He just felt sorry for the vermin living in a shack with a dirt floor. Anyway the commune had a flat fender PW that looked like it was their main means of ranch transportation and it appears several times in the film. Nice to see.
