My five month saga is ongoing. Bought a 22 mag lever in may that jammed on the first shot. The spent cartridge wouldn't extract.
Got a return authorization from Henry and sent it to New Jersey for repair. In five or six weeks it was returned to me with a note claiming the chamber was reamed to remove a dent caused by dry firing.
It now worked properly but the receiver was scratched and the rear stock was dented.
Another call to Henry and they offered to send me a new rear stock and a receiver that I could install myself.

At that point I asked for a refund and returned the gun with another return authorization. My question for them at that time was, if they have the gun and the money what chance do I have of getting paid?
I was assured that there would be no problem.
A follow up call in three weeks netted me assurance that the check was in the mail.
Now a month later there is no check and no one answering their phones.
Are they going out of business or is it the storm?
