We never have hurricanes or earthquakes (one mild quake and every chimney in town would be a heap of bricks and sand). Our "next big one" will be a repeat of the 1910 fire -- the one they called "the hurricane fire" back in its day. Burned from the Clearwater to the Rockies in 3 days. Wind blew so hard it sucked the trees right out of the ground and into the fire. Every place has its dangers. Even the garden of Eden had the snake.
