I've been working on a spin-on mount for a Baldwin bypass filter- got the mount done, need to start bending up the hard lines (1/4" brake tubing). It will use the same holes as the original cannister, but will be easier and less messy to service, and will likely do a better filtering job, as the Baldwin was designed specifically as an oil filter.
I have a spare 230 block that I've been looking at with the idea of designing a full-flow system that doesn't require oil pump mods. Haven't had too much time to experiment with it yet. If anyone's interested in pics of the Baldwin mount, I may be able to post if someone can clue me in on how that's done here...
