Hydraulic brake booster question

I just picked up a Bendix booster that does not use the nitrogen cylinder that we normally see . this one uses a remote hydaulic tank . It came on a 80s chev van / moterhome . Has anyone ever seen one of these units before or know how well they work .
There is more clearance with this unit than the standard ones and you would not need to flip it . It looks like a problem solver to me .
Any links ? I can find nothing on this unit so far .
